SHOES ON THE BEACH

 

Looks like the fellow in this pic’ kicked off his shoes and left them parked to the side.

Looks like my Mom, Lillian Adelle Whitney, and her Mom, my Grandma Louise, did the same thing.

Someone’s sandals parked on the beach.  Could’’ve been mine?  Might have been my daughters?  Hard to tell.  You’ll see why in a minute.

These sandals left under the chair are definitely mine.  I recognize my camera case sitting on the seat.

Those almost hiding next to this chair are my eldest daughter’s because I recognize her beach towel.  We both wore the same kind of sandals – same size, too.  They’re light weight and fasten every which way with Velcro.  I found them at Save Mart supermarket in Tahoe City several years ago and when we found out how comfortable and convenient they were, we bought out their supply of them in our size in pink, and blue, and did the same the next year and the year after that until they weren’t selling them anymore so we still have new ones we haven’t worn yet ‘waiting in the wings’. J

My blue sandals are under my chair, so those must be daughter’s pink ones sitting out there alone.

My daughter was wearing her blue sandals on this day.
