POSING ON ELBOWS

Three beautiful grandchildren posing on elbows.

The granddaughter from the photo above a few years later.

My youngest daughter at 4 1/2 months.

Okay – shoulders, hands, & forearms can count too.  Youngest daughter on top, her older sister beneath her, and their brother under both of them.

My husband's grandfather, Poppy, aka Henry (Harry) Edgar Brasier as a young man on a camping trip.  He may not be posing on his elbows, but an elbow is prominent in the photo, plus he's in a tent. J

Speaking of elbows!  I think I was around 8 or 9 here, but I'm not sure?

  1. Great to figure out elbows as a link here! The photo of Poppy is a rare one, which he probably wouldn't want to be seen. But a deep sleep is needed, even in the tent in daylight!

  2. Well done! I am amazed how you can find so many perfect matches for Alan's themes in your family photos. With all those elbows, I bet you could find just as many fingers, toes, and knees, too.
And I agree with your comment about singing the Banner. It really should be sung by everyone at an event. Though 30-40,000 voices might make for harsh intonation if the key was too high! Actually I'd prefer "America the Beautiful" or "This Land Is Your Land".
